Christian protesters destroy Andres Serrano's "Piss Christ"

The long-controversial work created in 1987 by NYC-based artist Andres Serrano, was attacked with hammers and destroyed Palm Sunday following an "anti-blasphemy" campaign by French Catholic fundamentalists in the southern city of Avignon.
